Oil Spill in San Francisco Bay




CAUTION:
To report oil in the water, call (985) 781-0804.
To report oiled wildlife, call (877) 823-6926.
At sunset 11/11/07 at Ocean Beach in San Francisco the oil continued to wash in.
Oiled birds continued to be found at Ocean Beach.
There was also a report that oil was washing ashore at Point Reyes.
I have no confirmed reports of oil washing ashore in San Mateo County.

Officials are not stopping people from cleaning
because Ocean Beach is not closed.
Please let me know other sites to add to this list.
While the beaches are not closed please respect and follow the instructions of any agency officials on the scene.

the environmental group Baykeeper is soliciting volunteers at http://www.baykeeper.org.
